Terms of Service

Last updated: November 7, 2026

Welcome to Nuniversity. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") apply to https://nuniversity.pages.dev together with every course, lesson, quiz, tool, game and page it serves (the "Service"). By using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is

Nuniversity is a free educational website: interactive courses and study lessons, a language-course app, study tools, educational games, practice quizzes, roadmaps and a library. It shows no ads, charges nothing, and asks for no account.

2. Free use, donations and no purchases

Nothing on the Service is sold. Any person may learn with the Service at no cost.

  • Donations by PIX or PayID are voluntary gifts that keep the Service free. They are not purchases: they unlock nothing, they are not recurring, and they cannot be refunded. A donation is not tax-deductible.
  • Payments happen entirely inside your banking app. We never handle card numbers or bank credentials.

3. Eligibility

You may use the Service as you are: no registration is needed. The Service is a general-audience website and is not directed at young children. Younger learners are always welcome when a parent, teacher or guardian supervises their use and accepts these Terms on their behalf.

4. Your license to use the Service

Subject to these Terms, Nuniversity grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable license to access the Service and study its content for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes. You may link to our public pages, cite our content, and use the interactive tools and games as they are served.

In one sentence: learn with Nuniversity freely. Do not use the Service to make money.

  • Do not copy, replicate or mirror the Service content in bulk: no systematic scraping, bulk downloads, mirroring or archives of the lessons.
  • Do not redistribute or republish: no hosting pages, lessons, quizzes, tools or games on other websites, apps, repositories or discs.
  • Do not sell, sublicense, paywall or advertise around our content, and do not use it to build commercial training, certifications or competing products.
  • Do not remove, cover or alter the Nuniversity name or logo, attribution lines, copyright notices, or the visible source references.
  • Do not circumvent, bypass, frame, or otherwise interfere with how the Service is served.
  • Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Classroom and research use

Individual teachers and professors may reproduce limited excerpts of our materials for their own classes, free of charge, as long as the excerpts carry visible attribution to Nuniversity and a link to the source page. Anything beyond that, including company training, course redistribution, or any commercial or paid use, requires our prior authorization: contact us first, we are easy to reach and will often simply say yes.

6. Content ownership

The Service, including its texts, questions, code, layout, names, logos and design, is owned by Nuniversity or licensed to it, and is protected by copyright and other laws. Unless a page says otherwise, all content and software on the Service is all rights reserved. You may not use blocks of it outside of the license above.

The Service source code is publicly visible on GitHub under the repository’s LICENSE file (the Nuniversity Educational License); that license governs the code, these Terms govern the Service. Third-party names, logos and materials keep their owners’ rights.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose, including copyright infringement.
  • Probe, scan or test the Service security, or attempt to access anything that is not public.
  • Interfere with the Service or disrupt other learners, including by automated requests.
  • Impersonate Nuniversity, or present the Service as your own product.
  • Collect data from other visitors, or introduce malicious code.

8. Third-party services and embeds

For education, the Service embeds or links third-party providers: YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, PhET interactive simulations, molecular structure files, and a contact form delivered by Formspree. When you interact with them, those providers may set their own cookies or process your data under their own policies, and we do not control them. The Service is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by exam vendors or other companies mentioned in lessons unless a page says so directly.

9. Educational disclaimer

The Service is educational material, not professional advice: it is not legal, financial, medical or investment guidance. Certification pages describe public exam guides and are study aids, not official preparation materials; no exam, job or career outcome is promised. Content is offered in good faith, with dates and references where facts are volatile.

10. Your data and your privacy

Your learning data belongs to you and lives in your browser. See the Privacy Policy for the complete story: what the Service keeps, what it never collects, and how to erase your data.

11. Service availability and changes

The Service is served from static hosting on a best-effort basis: it may change, pause, or drop features at any time. Content stays published as long as the project runs.

12. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy or availability. Where local law does not allow a full disclaimer of implied warranties, the disclaimer still applies to the maximum extent the law permits.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nuniversity is not liable for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data, connected to the Service or these Terms. If a court still finds liability, its total amount is limited to ten United States dollars (US$10), which matches what you paid for the Service (nothing). Where local law forbids such caps, that law always wins.

14. Indemnification

If you break these Terms or the law while using the Service, and someone raises a claim against Nuniversity because of it (including legal fees), that claim is yours to carry, not ours.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. Nuniversity may suspend, restrict or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time, including for breach of these Terms. The sections that should survive (license restrictions, content ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law) survive any stop.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms follow the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Disagreements should start with a friendly email and, only if ever necessary, end at the courts of São Paulo, state of São Paulo, Brazil. If you are a consumer and your local law grants stronger rights that cannot be displaced, those rights still apply.

17. Other clauses

If one clause of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest stay in force. Not enforcing a clause once is not a waiver for the future. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Nuniversity about the Service. Nuniversity may assign these Terms; you may not transfer yours.

18. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may change as the Service evolves. The current version always lives on this page, with the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Service after a change is posted means you accept the updated Terms.

19. Contact
